1. Who we are and how to contact us
Worlds Best Cables ("WBC", "we", "us", "our") is a brand operated for the purpose of this online store by Perstaff Precision Technologies (PVT) LTD, No. 06A, Ring Road 2, KEPZ Road, Katunayake Export Processing Zone, Katunayake 11420, Sri Lanka (the "Seller"). The Worlds Best Cables brand and associated intellectual property may be owned by or licensed from an affiliated company within the Perstaff group.
For order, product, and legal-notice enquiries regarding these Terms, contact support@worldsbestcables.com or use our website Contact Us page. A notification is received when it reaches our designated email inbox, subject to applicable law; an automatic response does not necessarily mean that we have accepted an order or approved a request.
2. Scope, parties and mandatory legal rights
These Terms apply to your access to WBC-controlled websites and direct purchases, quotations and made-to-order products supplied by the Seller. They do not, by themselves, govern a purchase completed on Amazon, eBay or another independent marketplace; that transaction is also subject to the applicable marketplace's sale and buyer-protection terms, while any separate WBC manufacturer's warranty may still apply according to its terms.
"Consumer" means an individual buying primarily for personal or household use. "Business Customer" means a purchaser acting primarily for business, trade or professional purposes. If you order on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to do so. Provisions expressly addressing Business Customers apply only to those customers.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, limits or waives statutory rights, remedies, claims, limitation periods or legal forums that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. A mandatory law that applies to a Consumer's transaction takes priority over any inconsistent provision. Any rights under WBC's voluntary policies or warranties are additional to those mandatory rights.
3. Acceptance and revisions
When placing an order, you will be asked to review and expressly agree to these Terms before the final order is submitted. Use of public pages alone does not replace any legally required express consent to purchase terms. The version displayed and accepted at checkout applies to that order, unless we and you lawfully agree otherwise. We may revise these Terms for future visits and orders by posting an updated version and its effective date. Material revisions will not retrospectively diminish rights under already accepted orders.
4. Accounts and accurate information
You may buy as a guest where guest checkout is available. If you create an account, you must provide accurate contact, delivery and billing information, keep credentials confidential, and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorised activity. You must not impersonate others, use fraudulent payment details or interfere with other users' accounts. We may restrict or suspend an account for reasonable security, fraud-prevention or legal grounds and will not use that restriction to withhold any remedy or refund required by law. Orders and customer records will be retained as described in our Privacy Policy and applicable recordkeeping obligations.
5. Product descriptions, specifications and suitability
We take reasonable care to describe product characteristics, lengths, connector types, connector orientations, cable construction, materials and included quantities accurately. Product photographs may be illustrative; the written product specification and final order summary govern the selected configuration, subject always to any legally binding representation and mandatory conformity rights. Minor variations that do not materially affect conformity may occur in materials, appearance or manufacturing tolerances. We will not substitute a materially different component or specification without appropriate notice and, where required, your consent.
Customers are responsible for checking the compatibility of their intended audio equipment and connector wiring before ordering. Our general product guidance does not replace the equipment manufacturer's instructions or professional advice. Products must be used only for purposes and ratings for which they are designed, and must not be used for mains electricity, life-support, medical or other safety-critical applications unless expressly represented as suitable for that specific use. Nothing here reduces our responsibility for inaccurate product descriptions, defects or unsafe goods where applicable law places that responsibility on us.
Trademarks belonging to wire, connector and equipment manufacturers remain their respective owners' property; reference to their products does not imply an endorsement or partnership unless expressly stated.
6. Prices, currencies and checkout disclosures
Unless otherwise clearly stated, website prices are quoted in United States dollars (USD). Before you submit an order, checkout will show the applicable products, quantities, discounts, available delivery methods, shipping charges, and taxes or fees that we collect. Any known, mandatory charges that must legally be included in the displayed total will be disclosed in accordance with the law of the relevant market. Your bank or payment provider may apply currency-conversion rates or its own charges that we do not control.
We may correct genuine typographical, pricing or inventory errors, but will not unilaterally impose an increased price after a contract has been formed. If we cannot honour a materially erroneous offer lawfully, we will contact you and offer a legally appropriate choice, including cancellation and prompt refund of amounts paid for products not supplied. Promotional conditions, exclusions and expiry dates will be disclosed with the promotion; promotions will not be retroactively changed for accepted orders.
7. Placing orders and contract formation
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase the selected goods under these Terms. An automated receipt confirms that our system received the order; unless it expressly states otherwise or mandatory law provides otherwise, it is not acceptance of an offer. We accept an order when we send an express order-acceptance confirmation or dispatch the goods, whichever occurs first. This rule is subject to applicable consumer-contract law, payment practices and clear notices given at checkout.
We may decline an order before acceptance for reasonable reasons, including payment failure, suspected fraud, regulatory or sanctions concerns, delivery restrictions, unavailable components or genuine listing errors. If we have collected payment for an order that we decline or cannot fulfil, we will promptly refund amounts due by the original payment method where reasonably possible. Once an order is accepted, cancellation or changes by either party are governed by these Terms, the applicable Returns Policy and mandatory law—not by an unrestricted discretion to cancel.
8. Custom cables, specialty assemblies, panels and stage boxes
A "Bespoke Product" is a product genuinely made to an individual customer's specifications or clearly personalised, including an individually approved wiring or connector arrangement, nonstandard dimensions, custom panel layout or stage-box configuration. A standard catalogue item is not necessarily bespoke merely because the customer selects a listed length, connector option or stock variation; eligibility for any legal exception depends on the actual product and governing law.
Before production, the customer must check the quotation or order confirmation, including quantities, lengths and measurement units, conductor/gauge, connector models and gender, pinouts, wiring scheme, channel labelling, finishes, cable jacket, panel or enclosure dimensions and any special instructions. Any ambiguity that would materially affect manufacture should be resolved in writing. Where we offer a formal design or drawing for approval, production may depend on the customer's written approval.
Requests to change an accepted bespoke order will be assessed case by case. We will explain any additional price, production impact or non-recoverable costs before proceeding with a customer-requested change. A customer-requested design change is not binding until we accept it. If WBC supplies goods that do not conform to the agreed specification, applicable rights to correction, replacement, price reduction, cancellation or refund remain available.
Bespoke Products may be exempt from certain change-of-mind cancellation or withdrawal rights where the applicable law expressly permits that exception and we made the exemption clear before purchase. They are not automatically exempt from remedies for defects, misdescription, nonconformity or WBC's applicable 10-Year Replacement Warranty. A quotation cannot displace mandatory consumer rights merely by calling an ordinary stock item "custom."
9. Payment verification and payment disputes
We use payment service providers to process online payments. Payment methods offered at checkout may involve a secure redirect to a third-party payment page. You authorise the amount disclosed at checkout and agree to use a payment method that you are authorised to use. We may use proportionate anti-fraud verification and hold fulfilment while a genuinely disputed or suspicious payment is investigated.
Contacting WBC about an order problem can help us resolve it promptly, but you are not required to give up or delay any lawful card dispute, chargeback, refund or consumer-protection right. We may investigate and respond to a disputed charge with transaction evidence. We will not automatically suspend all support or unrelated valid customer entitlements merely because a dispute was filed. We may prevent duplicate recovery of the same amount, subject to law.
10. Shipping, delivery, title and risk
Available delivery options, shipping fees and delivery estimates are provided during checkout or in the Shipping & Delivery Policy. Unless expressly guaranteed, a delivery estimate is not a guaranteed arrival date. If a shipment or fulfilment delay occurs, we will provide legally required notices, cancellation choices and refunds; any statutory shipping-time rule applicable to your order takes precedence. In particular, orders subject to US mail/internet order rules will be handled under those rules.
We will use reasonable care in preparing and packing products for delivery. For Consumers, risk of accidental loss or damage in transit remains with us until delivery to the customer or a person designated by the customer, except where applicable law provides a different rule (including certain independently arranged carriers). The allocation of title and risk to Business Customers may be specified separately in an accepted commercial quotation; in all cases, applicable law governs.
Inspect packages when practical and tell us promptly about missing goods, incorrect items, visible damage or suspected loss. Notifying us promptly helps carrier investigations but does not extinguish mandatory rights merely because a customer missed an arbitrary notice deadline. We may request reasonable documentation or photographs. If a delivery is missing, we will investigate and provide the remedy required under applicable law and our policy.
11. Promotional shipping and special offers
Free-shipping and discounted-shipping promotions depend on the product eligibility, country, order value, shipping estimate and conditions shown with the promotion and at checkout. In particular, the WBC website advertises a general USD 150 threshold for potential free or discounted shipping and a special USD 100 offer for qualifying carts containing only the specified WBC-PRO-PEDAL / WBC-MINI-BOLT-GOLD product. The exact charge is the shipping charge clearly displayed and accepted at checkout, unless mandatory law requires a different outcome. Promotions apply only when their disclosed conditions are satisfied and will not be applied inconsistently with a confirmed order.
12. International orders, customs and import charges
We ship internationally only where service and lawful delivery are available. Unless checkout or an accepted quotation expressly states that WBC will pay import duties and taxes, the recipient may be responsible for import duties, destination-country taxes, customs brokerage fees and lawful local clearance requirements to the extent those amounts have been properly disclosed and may legally be charged to the recipient. We will not treat a fee collected by us at checkout as payable a second time by the customer. Checkout and shipping documents should identify whether the delivery is duty-paid or duty-unpaid when this distinction is material.
You are responsible for providing accurate recipient and import information and observing lawful destination-country restrictions. If a delivery is refused or cannot clear customs because of inaccurate customer-supplied information or unpaid charges properly owed by the customer, we may deduct reasonable, actual, evidenced return or clearance costs from a voluntary refund only where applicable law and pre-contract disclosure permit. We do not impose automatic forfeiture of the purchase price, nor shift to a customer the risk of our own customs, labelling or export errors. Customs delays may occur, but mandatory delivery and refund rights remain in force.
13. Returns, cancellations and statutory withdrawal rights
The Refund & Returns Policy sets out WBC's voluntary return and exchange programmes, including its separately advertised 90-day regular-product return programme and the two-year Ultimate Series speaker-cable satisfaction return period beginning on the original date of purchase. Those voluntary promises are additional to the law and form part of the purchase contract to the extent they were advertised or agreed for the order. Any conditions concerning return authorisation, condition, return-shipping costs or refund timing must comply with applicable law and must not remove a Consumer's mandatory remedies for defective, misdescribed or undelivered goods.
For Consumers covered by EU or UK distance-selling rules, eligible non-exempt online purchases generally carry a statutory cancellation/withdrawal period of 14 days after receipt, with applicable notice, refund and return procedures. Some genuine made-to-specification or clearly personalised goods may be excluded from change-of-mind withdrawal, but not from statutory remedies for defects or nonconformity. Applicable country-specific rules, including longer or different rights where they apply, prevail. WBC will provide any mandatory model withdrawal form, instructions, and required pre-contract information through the Returns Policy or checkout where required.
Where mandatory law requires a refund of the original standard outbound delivery charge on an eligible withdrawal, we will make that refund; a blanket deduction of promotional outbound shipping from the customer's statutory refund will not apply. Any voluntary return programme may carry separate, clearly disclosed and lawful conditions.
14. WBC 10-Year Replacement Warranty
WBC advertises a 10-year replacement warranty for its cables. The warranty is explained on our Warranty page and is a voluntary commercial promise in addition to the customer's statutory rights. A covered customer may submit a claim using the dedicated warranty form or by contacting our support team. The warranty's published terms, including its ten-year duration, eligible products, proof-of-purchase process and remedies, govern the voluntary warranty and cannot be withdrawn retrospectively to the detriment of a prior purchase.
The current published warranty describes replacement with the same cable, a cable of similar functionality when an identical replacement is unavailable, or a refund of the price paid when neither replacement can be provided. Any shipping reimbursement or shipment conditions offered in that warranty must be honoured as advertised and reconciled with the site's other shipping statements. Reasonable verification may be requested, but we will not impose a condition that nullifies a mandatory statutory remedy. Nothing here limits any legal guarantee, implied warranty or consumer right that applies independently of WBC's 10-year promise.
15. Product safety, instructions and recalls
Follow product-specific instructions, connector polarity/pinout guidance, cable ratings and equipment safety guidance. Incorrect installation or use can damage equipment. If we identify a material safety concern, we may issue safety notices, corrections or recalls and contact affected customers as required by law. No disclaimer in these Terms excludes our legal responsibilities for unsafe products or product recalls. Customers should stop using a product identified as unsafe and follow the relevant notice.
16. Website intellectual property and permissible use
The website's original copy, product photographs, graphics, design, cataloguing, drawings, diagrams, software and other protected material belong to WBC, its group companies or licensors. We grant you a limited, personal, nonexclusive and revocable permission to browse the website, compare products, place orders and retain reasonable copies of your own order documentation, subject to applicable law. We do not grant a right to reproduce proprietary catalogues, product photography, protected trade dress, copyrighted specifications or source materials commercially without permission.
You must not circumvent security controls, attempt unauthorised access, inject malicious code, interfere with availability, collect personal data unlawfully, impersonate customers or employees, or use automated tools to purchase at abnormal volume, harvest protected content or abuse our systems. Except as allowed by mandatory law or our explicit permission, you must not systematically scrape proprietary site content or use it to construct competing catalogues, datasets or train machine-learning models. Legitimate search-engine indexing permitted by our technical site settings and legally protected fair use or equivalent rights are not prohibited by this section. Nothing restricts lawful security research or conduct that cannot be contractually prohibited under applicable law.
17. Reviews, photographs and other customer submissions
If you send us product reviews, photographs, comments, drawings or other content ("Submissions"), you confirm that you have the rights needed to submit them and that doing so does not infringe another person's rights. Ownership remains with you. You give WBC a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce, adapt for formatting, display and share a Submission only as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry, fulfil an agreed custom order, operate a review or testimonial feature, or carry out a separately authorised promotional use. We will obtain additional permission where law requires it, especially for use of identifiable people in advertising. We will not treat non-public specifications, personal contact information or support messages as unrestricted public material. Personal information is handled under the Privacy Policy and applicable law. You may request removal of public content, subject to legitimate legal and recordkeeping requirements.
18. Third-party providers and links
Our store may use independent processors, couriers, payment gateways, analytics providers and third-party links. Their separate terms may apply to their own services. We are not responsible for independently controlled third-party content merely because it is linked from our site, but this clause does not remove any duty that WBC itself owes for an order, a payment arrangement, our selected shipping service, the protection of personal data, or a vendor acting on our behalf under applicable law.
19. Privacy and cookies
Our Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, processed, shared, secured, retained and handled in connection with the website, orders, customer support and warranty claims. Any cookie or direct-marketing choices will be offered where applicable law requires them. Terms of purchase are not a substitute for a legally valid privacy notice or for any consent required for optional tracking or marketing. Contact us using the details in Section 1 with privacy questions; see the Privacy Policy for any additional dedicated privacy contact or rights procedures.
20. Export controls, sanctions and anti-fraud measures
You must not use the site or arrange orders in breach of export-control, sanctions, anti-fraud or other laws applicable to the transaction. We may reasonably verify end users, destinations and transactions and decline or hold a transaction where necessary to comply with law. Where no legal prohibition prevents repayment, sums collected on a declined and unfulfilled order will be refunded as required by applicable law. We will not disclose customer information to authorities other than as permitted or required by law and explained in the Privacy Policy.
21. Website availability and disclaimers
We aim to operate a reliable store, but uninterrupted website availability cannot be guaranteed. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that informational website functions or nonessential digital features will operate continuously, without errors or without interruption. This disclaimer applies to website functionality only and does not disclaim the description, conformity, quality, safety, delivery, statutory guarantees or express written warranties applicable to goods purchased from us. No provision removes obligations for fraud, deception, deliberate misconduct, negligence, product liability, or other matters to the extent the law prohibits excluding them.
22. Liability and indemnity
Consumers: Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any non-excludable consumer remedy or any liability that applicable law does not permit us to limit, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where that exclusion is forbidden, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, defective products, and statutory rights regarding goods, shipping and refunds. Subject to those rights, WBC is not liable for losses that are remote or not reasonably foreseeable as a consequence of a proven breach; however, we remain responsible for losses that the governing law makes recoverable.
Business Customers only: To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law and subject to the exclusions above, neither party is liable to the other for indirect or consequential commercial losses, lost profits or lost business opportunities arising from an order. WBC's aggregate contractual liability relating to a particular Business Customer order is limited to the amount paid or payable for the products in that order giving rise to the claim, except for liabilities that may not lawfully be capped, deliberate misconduct, or any different cap expressly agreed in a signed commercial contract. This limitation does not affect legally required remedies for delivered goods or sums due on cancellation. Business Customers agree to indemnify WBC against third-party claims caused by their unlawful specifications, content or infringement of third-party rights, but only to the extent caused by the Business Customer and permitted by law.
23. Events outside reasonable control
Neither party will be liable for a failure or delay caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control, such as severe natural disasters, transport shutdowns, lawful government measures or widespread infrastructure outages, but only to the extent the event actually prevents performance. We will take reasonable mitigation steps, provide updated information and offer cancellation or refund options when legally required. This clause does not permit indefinite retention of payments for unfulfilled consumer orders or override mandatory delivery requirements.
24. Governing law and disputes
We welcome an opportunity to resolve a complaint promptly. Email support@worldsbestcables.com with the order number, relevant facts and requested remedy; we will handle complaints in good faith. The parties may also use a competent regulator, card provider or legally available alternative dispute-resolution process.
To the extent permitted by mandatory law, these Terms and direct-sale contracts are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, without applying conflict-of-laws rules that would defeat the expressed choice. For Consumers, this choice does not deprive you of any mandatory protection of the laws of your habitual residence where those protections apply, nor does it prevent you from bringing a claim in a court or forum that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that qualification and to any agreed mandatory forum, the courts having jurisdiction in Colombo, Sri Lanka will hear disputes. Business Customers agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Colombo for claims arising from these Terms unless a separate signed contract expressly requires arbitration or another forum.
These Terms do not require Consumers to enter binding arbitration, waive a class or collective remedy, or shorten a statutory claim period where such a requirement or waiver is unlawful. We reserve the right to seek appropriate legal relief to protect intellectual property or prevent cybersecurity abuse in any competent jurisdiction, subject to applicable law.
25. General provisions
If a provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be applied only to the extent lawful and the remaining provisions will continue, unless the law requires another result. Failure to enforce a provision once does not waive future enforcement. WBC may transfer this agreement as part of a genuine business restructuring or sale subject to applicable law, preservation of accrued rights and required privacy safeguards. Neither party may transfer contractual obligations in a manner prohibited by law. Section headings assist reading and do not change meaning. The English-language version is the reference version where law permits, but mandatory translation and interpretation requirements in relevant markets prevail.
These Terms, any accepted quote or order confirmation, and the versions of policies expressly incorporated and made available before purchase constitute the relevant contract for a direct website order. A separately negotiated and signed commercial agreement prevails over inconsistent general provisions for that specific transaction. If policies conflict, the provision giving the Consumer the greater mandatory or expressly promised protection governs; an accepted order confirmation controls transaction-specific quantities, pricing and configuration unless doing so would remove a mandatory right.
